Former Bayern Munich and Germany coach Hansi Flick has made a successful start at FC Barcelona. As leaders of La Liga, the Blaugranas are benefiting from the attacking style of play implemented by the coach, along with the strict discipline he has introduced to the team from a Catalan region. In an appearance on the Spanish show Martinez y Hermanos, Pedri revealed one of the rules that Flick has changed compared to his predecessor: "With Xavi, it was a €1000 fine for every minute you were late, and it doubled for every additional minute. With Flick, it’s not the same: if you’re late, you don’t play. For me, not playing is worse. I make sure to arrive ten minutes early," shared the Spanish midfielder. Jules Koundé, who was late to a team meeting and then started on the bench against Alavés, has already felt the impact of this new policy, which appears to be working well for Barça.
