Organizing collective pressure during the passing phase is a defensive training topic that demands a high degree of precision, in addition to being linked to the system and the game plan. Two concepts stand out:
Firstly, that of "collective pressure," implying the presence of at least two teammates who will interact to win back possession collectively. The coach's job is therefore to establish a connection and flow of play between all the players, from the striker to the goalkeeper. This is true even if all relationships cannot be addressed in a single session.
