Director of the Women's Youth Center of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Football League since 2009, Cécile Locatelli is also assistant to the France U23 Women's team, after having been coach of the U16, U17 and U18 teams over the last ten years. In Fabien Lefèvre's staff, the former international player (44 caps) is rediscovering a role that she had not experienced since her debut as part of Guy Ferrier's technical team. The experienced coach gives her definition of the position : "A good assistant knows how to stay in his place, but say what needs to be said to the coach". For the former OL trainer, "he must adapt to all situations, be honest and clear the air so that the coach only has to think about tactics and management".
