After winning the Coupe de France with Stade Rennais in 2019, Julien Stéphan has just been appointed manager of QPR in the Championship. In an interview with the daily newspaper L'Équipe, the Frenchman reflected on his first impressions and was particularly impressed by the TSG Elite Training & Performance Centre, "the new and very functional training facility" of the club, which finished 15th last season. One detail particularly surprised the coach: "The two training pitches, for example, have been designed so that the team never feels disoriented. We have one the size of Loftus Road, one of the smallest pitches in the League. And another is sized in the average size of other Championship pitches." This is the perfect preparation for the 46 matches of the very demanding English second division.
