Alongside São Paulo, the Paris region is one of the richest talent pools in the world, boasting an abundance of skilled soccer players. Identifying and developing these players has become a critical priority for professional clubs in the area. On November 21, Paris Saint-Germain unveiled its cutting-edge "PSG Campus" in Poissy, a €300 million facility spanning 150,000 square meters. The campus includes 16 soccer fields, a middle and high school, and will host 180 academy players aged 13 to 19. Meanwhile, Paris FC has announced its ambition to build the best youth academy in France. To achieve this, the Ligue 2 club—set to be acquired by the Arnault family and the LVMH group—plans to leverage the expertise of its sporting partner, Red Bull, and its newly appointed head, Jürgen Klopp. "Right now, we see too many talented players pass through Paris and end up thriving elsewhere. I don’t think we currently have the infrastructure in place. We want to build a club where, eventually, five, six, seven, or even eight players in the first team come through our academy," said Antoine Arnault. The first step in this ambitious project? Acquiring new land to expand and improve the existing facilities, bringing them closer to the level of PSG's state-of-the-art setup in the western suburbs of the capital.
