Despite the club's relegation to Ligue 2, AS Saint-Étienne has decided to beef up its coaching staff for the upcoming season, announcing the signing of two fitness coaches and a renowned performance director from the Premier League. For the latter position, the Greens have managed to attract the experienced Donough Holohan, 65, who has just completed thirteen years as Manchester City's head of performance, winning numerous titles with him. To support him, the Saint-Étienne management have also secured the services of David Tivey, a specialist in individualized preparation with experience with the England U17 national team, the Chelsea Academy, and Nottingham Forest. Calum Daley, a former athletic trainer for Millwall, Ipswich, Queens Park Rangers, and Charlton Women, completes this British roster chosen by Kilmer Sports Ventures, the Canadian group that owns ASSE. The three men will be tasked with strengthening Norwegian coach Eirik Horneland's staff with the aim of returning to the top flight of French football as quickly as possible.
