After thirty-three years at the Olympique Lyonnais academy, where, from Karim Benzema to Alexandre Lacazette or Maxence Caqueret, he helped shape several generations of players, Cyrille Dolce is embarking on a new phase of his career. The French trainer is moving to Morocco, where he will be in charge of a brand-new federal centre for the local national technical director. This is an opportunity to discuss his vision of football and training. "Ask for nothing, expect nothing, everything will come to you if you work, that's the phrase I've always applied to myself and that I've always wanted to convey with humility and humanity." From his rich experience in Lyon, Cyrille Dolce identifies essential qualities for an educator: "listening and observing. We must remain constantly alert to progress, without ever sitting on the values to be transmitted to young people". In Morocco, he will also have the opportunity to put into practice his last piece of advice: "I will not apply exactly the same approach that I used at OL to my new role because a trainer must be flexible and adapt to each context."
