Physical trainer for the pioneering women's French football club VGA Saint-Maur for three years, Hadrien Chaduteau has developed a model to optimize the quantification of training load. "A tool accessible to all amateur clubs and effective at that" the 25-year-old physiotherapy student reveals. "Every weekend, I have the players fill out a questionnaire via Google Forms in order to obtain the maximum amount of information on the RPE (overall load and fatigue). This includes the three sessions and the weekly match, wellness (pain, stress, sleep) to which I have integrated menstruation and a final 'comments' box so that they can communicate with us outside of training". The responses are then compiled in a Sheets document so that the data is quickly available. But how can they be used quickly without being an Excel expert? "Some friends who work with AI gave me the idea of using Chat GPT and it helped me build my model and individualize the players' results in graphic form. The next step is to use AI to correlate the "fatigue and menstruation" elements. Today, AI is scary, but it helps us optimize our performance." A method that allowed the staff to adjust and refine the individual and collective workload for its players and could inspire other coaches.
